MT Alpha Mountain Bike Skills Clinic - Saturday, June 8

MT Alpha will be hosting a mountain bike skills clinic for women of all levels on Saturday, June 8. Whether you are new to the sport or are preparing for the #MissoulaXC (June 22nd), this event will improve your technical skills and empower you to be a more aggressive and confident rider. We welcome anyone to attend regardless of skill level and previous experience.

We are bringing in talented and professional mountain bike riders from across the state to coach this full day event. Instructors will work with participants to develop a core set of mountain bike skills including:
  •     Correct Body Position
  •     Balanced Weight Placement
  •     Bike Fit for Optimal Riding and Control
  •     Advanced Cornering Technique
  •     Effective Braking
  •     Correct Technique for Uphill and Downhill Switchbacks
  •     Advanced Climbing Techniques
  •     Clearing Large Obstacles and Bunny Hopping
  •     Reading the Trail and Looking Ahead

Not only is this a chance to improve your mountain biking skills, the day clinic will be an opportunity for you to find new cycling buddies, get comfortable on new trails, and learn about the cycling organizations and opportunities in the community.
