This season, MT Alpha will be highly involved in Montana’s mountain bike community.  We are organizing and hosting a statewide MT Alpha Skills Clinic on June 8th,  putting on the Kettlehouse Beer League Race Series at Marshall Mountain and helping with the Hammer Nutrition Pro XCT. We also have two (2) coaches to help us with our performance on our bikes and overall fitness level: Nate Keck and Tammera Bassette. In addition, weekly team rides, skills clinics and support of an amazing group of women will help you achieve your goals for the season.

With the growth of our team and our riders’ diverse abilities and preferences, we decided to create two levels of MT Alpha: a race team and a club team. Whether you’d like to join the race team or the club team, the option is up to you. However, both race team and club members annual dues are $25.

As a race team member, you will race a minimum of five (5) USAC sanctioned mountain or cyclocross races in your MT Alpha kit and you must volunteer at the MT Alpha Skills Clinic. In return, MT Alpha will pay for race entry fees and possible transportation costs and you will receive a ton of sponsor shwag. Racers must submit a Race Fee Application to MT Alpha Board of Directors one (1) week prior to racing (see attached Race Fee Application).

As a club team member, you are not required to race but are encouraged to ride on MT Alpha weekly group rides and ride in at least one (1) race. If you choose to race, MT Alpha will cover one (1) race entry fee for the season. Club members must volunteer at at least two (2) Kettle House Beer League Races.

We are so excited for this upcoming season and we hope that you are able to join us for another year as an Alpha.

We will have group rides 2x a week. These will be optional, fun, social rides that do not count toward your requirements.

Thanks for your interest and hope to see you on the team!!!
