HAMMER NUTRITION MISSOULA XC madness

We heard that the Hammer Nutrition Missoula XC is stepping up their game this year and adding some events. Check it out: 

They're adding a Friday night short track race before the cross country, and on Sunday we'll have a chance to ride the Snowbowl chairlift and just race down. One weekend, three races. What could be better? The fact that it's in June now. That's what. July's just too hot, you know? 

So mark your calendars and start gearing up for the 2013 Hammer Nutrition Missoula XC is on June 21-23, 2013! You can check out the race website here or atwww.missoulaxc.org for more information!

Still unsure of whether the XC is your cup of tea? Never heard of a short track race? That's a-ok, because the Kettlehouse Beer League races are on again this year, and we'll be running at least one Wednesday night short track race so that folks can get the hang of it. We'll also have the MT ALPHA SKILLS CLINIC on June 9th.

MT Alpha "Mama Jen" as a Specialized Women's Abassador

Ladies and Gentlemen:


WE HAVE HUGE NEWS! 

Our very own Jennifer Bardsley has just been named as Specialize Women's Ambassador!

We are so incredibly happy and proud of Jen!  Her commitment to MT Alpha's mission (promoting mountain
biking to women) and her genuine stoke for women racing is huge and will perfectly translate to her new responsibilities as an Ambassador.

Jen is our Mama. When we get down, she lifts us back up!  She makes us laugh, brings us band-aids to put on our scraped up knees. She packs extra snacks for us on long rides, has extra water when we run out, and is always so stoked just to be on her bike with her team.  She's MT Alpha's Mama Jen and we'd be lost without her.

Jen is also a real life mother to two awesome kids: Alex Bardsley : Free rider extrordinaire; and Ellie Bardsley: MT Alpha Junior XC racer! Both kids are amazing on bikes and super stoked on life.  Jen obviously has a knack for getting people excited about bikes.

Oh and also, Jen is an amazing artist and paints sweet pictures of bikes. Check out her artistic talents here!

WE LOVE YOU MAMA JEN! We can't think of any one better suited for Specialized Women's Ambassador Program. Nice effing work.
